Appointments Update from May 2025
As of May we will be operating a 75% / 25% book on the day vs pre-bookable appointments system.
We have received increasing requests for book on the day appointments which we have not been able to meet. We have listened to patient feedback and demand and therefore increased our book on the day appointment availability.

Book on the day appointments are for patients who are acutely unwell and need triaging as soon as possible, ideally to be seen on the same day. We will now have 25 book on the day appointments available to allow better access to our service.
Pharmacy First and Urgent Treatment Centres will continue to be the care-navigation pathways where appropriate and required.
This has meant that pre-bookable appointments have needed to decrease as a consequence to allow our GPS to continue to practice safely and work within BMA guidelines.
We appreciate your ongoing patience and understanding.
Yours sincerely,
