Antenatal clinic

Midwife Lorna Pettifer runs the clinic on Monday from 9:15am until lunchtime at Jockey Lane Clinic.

The midwife can also help with pre-conceptual advice



Anti-coagulation service

Our nurse provides in-house anti-coagulation blood testing.

Baby Clinic

The doctor is available by appointment on Mondays from 14:00 – 15:00 to carry out 6 week assessment checks.

Please see the health visitor for a general baby check on the Tuesday before your appointment and have your baby book brought up to date. 

The practice nurse is available by appointment for childhood immunisations on Thursdays between 14.00-15.00. Immunisations can also be done before 10.30 by the nurse on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.


Breast Screening

Arranged directly by the CCG who screen women aged between 50 and 64 on a 3 yearly basis.

Contraceptive Services

By appointment with a doctor or nurse. 

Dr Landor deals with all IUD's (coils). There is also a ‘drop-in’ Young Persons clinic 15:30 - 17:30 on Mondays at Cranbrook Clinic (Tel:0158071303 for appointment).

The health visitor holds a drop in clinic every Tuesday from 09.00 - 11:00 at Cranbrook Clinic, Jockey Lane and on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 13:00 - 15:00 at Hawkhurst Community Clinic, Baptist Church Hall, Cranbrook Road.


Vaccinations and Immunisations

Please note that for clinical reasons, with the exception of the baby clinic, vaccinations are done before 11.00 only, by the nurse.

Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
